Ugh...I Have Homework

Bring your homework to our office and receive help with all high school core subjects.  Our volunteers and staff are there for you.  Should you also need a quiet place to study, drop in any time during office hours.

Look for our office at #100A  |  315-10 Avenue SE

Our hours:

Thursday | 11 am – 7pm

Friday | 11 am – 7pm

Saturday | Noon – 4 pm

To serve you better, and based on times and schedules, staff could be available for appointments outside the drop-in hours.

Just in case we forget to mention it when we see you, we will not be open any Saturday of a long week-end.

We are Coming To Your School

When you have questions about school, family, employment or anything at all, our in-school support staff has the answers, and if we don’t, we will get them for you.

Wondering about course selection or the transition to post-secondary, well, worry no more.

Come and talk to us if you go to the following schools:

  1. Forest Lawn High School
  2. Lester B. Pearson High School
  3. Crescent Heights High School
  4. James Fowler High School

Workshops Your Might Actually Enjoy

We know that the last thing you want to do is sit through a boring presentation.  That’s why we try to make them fun, engaging and very topical. Topics include:

  1. Girls Empowerment
  2. Public Speaking (it’s not as difficult as you might think it is)
  3. Developing Good Study Habits
  4. Mental Wellness
    and so much more.

Workshops are conducted at our office location throughout the school year.

Volunteer With Others!

There are so many great ways to connect with others while giving back to your community.  Volunteering can build confidence and will help you develop skills you can use in the future.  It’s a great way to gain experience to add to your resume.

We can arrange volunteer opportunities that best suit your needs and interests.

Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks

We understand that long breaks from school can be amazing, but only when you have fun things to fill your time.  During school breaks in the winter, spring and summer, we plan workshops, invite guest speakers to present, design group volunteering activities, travel to fun places in the city, work on art projects, or book dancing and cooking lessons.  Each season is different, and it’s always exciting! Winter and Spring breaks are usually 4-5 full days of activities, while summer break lasts two (2) full weeks!

Finding a Part-time Job

When you first start looking for a part-time or full-time job, it can be very confusing. We can refer you to groups, individuals or on-line resources which will help you better understand the kind of job you might be suited for, and how to start a job search.
