Summary: We are now offering comprehensive support services for newcomers at the Genesis Centre. Our program provides essential settlement assistance to help newcomers navigate life in Calgary and access necessary resources.
Key Services:
- Initial Settlement Needs and Asset assessment, and referrals
- Information and orientation on life in Calgary
- Referrals to government, non-government, and community services
- Assistance with obtaining government documents
- Supportive, non-therapeutic counseling
- Information sessions/workshops
- Interpretation and translation (by appointment only)
Additional Information:
- Services are available for permanent residents and naturalized Canadian citizens
- Staff can assist in multiple languages: English, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Hindi, Punjabi and Nepali
