Francophone Services

Francophone Services

With the objective of ensuring that French-speaking newcomers receive high-quality services in Canada’s second official language, CCIS has partnered with three (3) Francophone organizations in Calgary; Centre d`Accueil des Nouveaux Arrivants Francophones (CANAF), Cite des Rocheuses and Portail De L’immigrant Association (PIA), to facilitate and support francophone newcomers in their settlement process in Calgary and area.

How We Journey Together

We Offer

CANAF (Centre d`Accueil des Nouveaux Arrivants Francophones)

Services include the facilitation of integration into the cultural and socio-economic aspects of Canadian society, thereby achieving an easier transition and enhanced sense of inclusion.

La Cité des Rocheuses

Provides a safe, ideal and non-judgmental gathering venue for members of the public, designed to encourage the engagement of its members while creating awareness of the unique arts, culture and programs of Francophone Calgarians.

PIA (Portail De L’immigrant Association)

A multicultural association that aims to offer a range of services and programs for the younger generation, 9 - 15 years old, and to assist in meeting their needs as a Francophone community, in all aspects of diversity and inclusion.
