CCIS recognizes that language proficiency is fundamental to successful integration in a new environment. By providing Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) classes and cultural orientation, we empower newcomers with the linguistic skills essential for day-to-day interactions, accessing employment opportunities and participating in Canadian society.
Our LINC classes help newcomers in Calgary learn about the culture and improve their language skills so they can find better jobs and feel confident and involved in the community.
As the largest immigrant serving agency in western Canada, the team at CCIS has done an incredible job over the last 30+ years supporting immigrants and refugees with their settlement, training, and integration needs.
