Workplace Rights Workshop Connects Community Members with Valuable Resources

Brooks & County Immigration Services (BCIS) recently partnered with UFCW Local 401 (United Food and Commercial Workers Canada, Local 401) to deliver an informative workshop focused on workplace rights and supports available to workers in Alberta.

Participants learned about topics including workers’ rights, union representation, workplace benefits, WCB, grievance processes, and resources available when facing workplace challenges. The session provided practical information to help community members better understand their rights and access support when needed.

BCIS extends its thanks to UFCW Local 401 for sharing their expertise and to all participants who joined the workshop.

Together, we continue building a more informed, empowered, and connected community.
