The Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Support Services acts as a bridge between TFWs, the Canadian community and employers by providing orientation and information about employment rights & responsibilities, Canadian business culture, and other necessary tools that enable TFWs to adjust to life in Canada.
We are proud to be part of one of the most resilient and collaborative communities in Alberta. While we enjoy what the community offers, we also do our part to be active and engaged in our city and region.
As an organization with strong connections to High River, we have numerous opportunities for you to support our agency. You can lend a hand with office organization, paperwork, event management and helping others settle in our community.
Our flagship volunteer opportunity is Canada Connects. We are always looking for caring, committed individuals who have the time and flexibility to spend a few hours each week with a family who needs support and kindness as they resettle in Canada.
These are life-changing friendships waiting to be shared. We accept both family units and individuals.
Volunteers offer guidance and companionship to someone new, and help us provide support to our newest neighbours, and the community as a whole. Find out today how you can make a difference
Our staff and volunteers speak a number of different languages and can assist you during those times when speaking and understanding English with other community members is necessary. Official documents requiring legal or medical translation can be facilitated by our Calgary office who have access to certified translators. Contact Shadi Zaidan at [email protected]. Nous sommes la pour supporter vos objectifs de carriere en off rant les ateliers dans les milieux de travail canadiens, et vous aider pour la recherche d’emploi. Notre programme de travailleur etranger temporaire vous aidera a naviguer dans les tenants et les aboutissants de notre marche du travail. Le programme de mentorat vise à connecter des mentors et des mentorés ayant des parcours éducatifs, des compétences et des expériences similaires, favorisant ainsi une relation mutuellement bénéfique. Ce jumelage axé sur la carrière soutient les personnes formées et éduquées à l’étranger dans leur intégration au marché du travail canadien. En tant que programme basé sur le bénévolat, il offre une opportunité précieuse de croissance personnelle et professionnelle.
