As a Permanent Resident of Canada, you have many advantages and options open to you. Here at BCIS, we are ready to answer any of your questions as you make this city our new home.
The Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Support Services acts as a bridge between TFWs, the Canadian community and employers by providing orientation and information about employment rights & responsibilities, Canadian business culture, and other necessary tools that enable TFWs to adjust to life in Canada.
At BCIS we are pleased to offer our newest settlement service for newcomer youth between the ages of 12 and 20. Our goal is to connect newcomer youth to our community, and our community to them!
We are proud to be part of one of the most resilient and collaborative communities in Alberta. While we enjoy what the community offers, we also do our part to be active and engaged in our city and region.
Our staff and volunteers speak a number of different languages and can assist you during those times when speaking and understanding English with other community members is necessary. Official documents requiring legal or medical translation can be facilitated by our Calgary office who have access to certified translators. Contact Shadi Zaidan at szaidan@ccisab.ca. This is a fee-for-service.
