Day 2 | Elimination of Racial Discrimination Books & Podcasts

Foothills Community Immigrant Services in partnership with the Foothills Baha’i Faith group, the Town of Okotoks, the Okotoks Library and Okotoks Cinema will be presenting 5 days of diversity awareness and anti-racism information leading up to March 21.

Below are a list of podcasts & books for the entire family to learn & enjoy together.

Podcasts:

  1. Warrior Life by Pam Palmeter – This is an Indigenous podcast about warrior life – a lifestyle that focuses on decolonizing our minds, bodies and spirits while at the same time revitalizing our cultures, traditions, laws and governing practices.

  2. #Cityline Real on Race – This podcast looks at race relations and inequality in Canada with a variety of guests.

  3. I don’t Speak Canadian – This follows two newcomers to Canada as they learn about their new home.
