Karen is the Manager of Research and Development for CCIS. Throughout her 16 years with our organization, Karen has specialized in curriculum development, research, proposal writing and program development. As the organization’s lead proposal writer, Karen ensures that CCIS’ funding applications are responsive to funders’ requirements and priorities, and in alignment with immigration trends, client needs and current research. She has represented CCIS as part of national conferences, seminars and working groups focused on innovative program design, curriculum development for specific newcomer groups, outcome measurement and essential skills.
