Information & Technology Bridging Program

Intake screening will begin in October 2026. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to attend information sessions and may subsequently participate in assessment processes between November 2026 and January 2027.

The sessions will cover all program details, including the curriculum, program format and timelines, and the next stages of the selection process.

***Invitations are limited to those who pass the intake screening.

  • Born outside of Canada, currently a resident of Calgary, and either a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
  • Possess prior foreign education and experience in the IT sector.
  • Currently unemployed or underemployed, and can demonstrate active job search efforts.
  • Able to commit to full-time training that leads to full-time employment in the IT sector.
***Designated seats are reserved for current Employment Insurance (EI) recipients and those who have received EI within the last 4 years.
  • Monday – Friday | 8 AM – 3 PM | In-person
  • SAIT Training – 7 Weeks:
    • Digital Solutioning with AI
    • Python & Data Analytics*
    • Python Programming*
    • Azure SQL & Cloud Data Solutions*
    • Agile Project Management*
    • IT Business Analysis

* with micro-credentials

  • CCIS Training – 9 Weeks
  • Work Experience Placement – 10 Weeks
