Designed for Calgary newcomers with IT education and work experience prior to coming to Canada, this program provides a clear pathway into the local IT industry. Over 16 weeks, participants strengthen their technical skills and earn micro-credentials at SAIT, while developing uniquely Canadian workplace communication, tech market insights, and resume and interview skills at CCIS.

The training leads to a 10-week placement opportunity with local companies. Our mission is to guide participants from training to meaningful, real-world IT employment in Canada.

Next Program: February 15, 2027
Intake screening will begin in October 2026. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to attend information sessions and may subsequently participate in assessment processes between November 2026 and January 2027.
