Upcoming Event: 2025 Temporary Foreign Workers Assembly – Navigating Support, Services & Community Allies

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, at CCIS, through our Business, Employment & Training Services (BETS) Division, we will proudly host the 2025 Temporary Foreign Workers (TFW) Assembly at the Kerby Centre.

This important annual event provides a vital platform for Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) across Alberta to connect with community allies, access accurate information, and learn about available supports. The 2025 theme, “Navigating Support: Services, Resources & Community Allies,” focuses on empowering TFWs with practical knowledge about immigration updates, permanent residency pathways, workers’ rights, and available community resources.

The Assembly will feature presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions led by government representatives, consulates, legal professionals, and community organizations. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in one-on-one consultations with service providers offering free information and guidance on employment, immigration, and settlement matters.

At CCIS, through our BETS Division, we remain committed to creating spaces where every Temporary Foreign Worker feels supported, informed, and valued. The Assembly is more than an event; it is a reflection of our ongoing mission to advocate for the well-being and empowerment of migrant workers across Alberta.

The dedication, teamwork, and compassion of the BETS team make this initiative possible. Together with our partners and community allies, we look forward to another impactful gathering that strengthens collaboration, celebrates diversity, and promotes inclusion for all.
