The Skills Elevate youth employment program has a class, Bridge to Success, for immigrant professional youth aged 30 or less starting on November 9, 2026. This class is 4 weeks in length, Monday to Friday, from 9am-1:30pm.
During these four weeks clients will learn advanced job search techniques for immigrant professionals. Topics include: Maximizing LinkedIn, Networking for Success, Professional Image, Resumes and Cover Letters, Emotional Resilience During the Job Search, Canadian Workplace Culture, Interview Skills, and so much more. The class will utilize practical activities and hands-on exercises to simulate real world experiences and prepare them for the workplace.
After the workshop clients will be supported one-on-one by the program’s Career and Employment Advisor to find work as soon as possible. Once clients start work they will be supported during the first three months of employment.
