Our community has spoken!
After receiving over 100 logo submissions and an incredible response from our community, we’re excited to announce that Juan Pablo Galindo Córdoba is the winner of the CCIS 45th Anniversary Logo Contest. His design received the most community votes and beautifully captures the spirit, history, and future of CCIS as we celebrate 45 years of impact and innovation.

Juan Pablo Galindo Córdoba, is a professional graphic designer with over 15 years of experience in branding, visual identity, and digital strategy. Originally from Colombia, he is a migrant who has been living in Canada for the past three years, bringing an authentic and multicultural perspective to his work. His creative approach is community-oriented, developing purposeful visual solutions that connect people, tell stories, and strengthen organizations.
About his design:
The CCIS 45th Anniversary logo represents unity, support, and integration through three stylized arms embracing the number 45, symbolizing protection and guidance for newcomers. The institutional colors reflect diversity, strength, and hope, while the circular composition conveys community and continuity. The clean, solid typography reinforces the organization’s institutional presence and its 45-year commitment to building futures.

We would also like to recognize our talented runner‑ups, Akash Chaugule and Duane Kumala Thomas, whose designs stood out and received strong community support throughout the voting process.
A heartfelt thank you to every designer who shared their creativity with us and to everyone who took the time to vote. This milestone celebration truly reflects the power of community, collaboration, and creativity.
