We recently hosted the Groove for Pink at the High River Library for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and what an incredible and heartwarming event it was!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the dance and social gathering. The energy was amazing—participants (including two awesome kids!) danced their hearts out, learned about the services offered by the High River Community Cancer Centre, and connected through fun, laughter, and awareness.
Special shout-out to our amazing sponsors:
Christopher Bareng of JB’s Mobile Massage for donating a relaxing one-hour massage raffle prize.
Mr. Siomai for stepping in at the last minute to share delicious Filipino treats.
And to our volunteer dance instructor Jonamy Bacharo Demetillo—thank you for keeping the moves flowing!
Participants loved their logo-printed towels (and put them to good use during the dance!). Everyone left feeling happy, recharged, and inspired to stay involved in the community.
Remember, awareness continues not only in October but all year long!
