CCIS offices are located in various rural communities across Southern Alberta providing a wide variety of settlement and employment services for newcomers.
Margaret Chisholm Resettlement Centre provides temporary accommodation to newcomers as they begin the resettlement process in Calgary and assisting them in overcoming initial obstacles in adjusting to a new country. The centre can accommodate up to 80 people.

At the heart of the Cross-Cultural Children’s Centre lies a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children, embracing immigrants, refugees, and Canadian-born youngsters. The center places a strong emphasis on culturally tailored care, language development, and preparing children for school.

Our youth outreach program is designed for immigrant youth between the ages of 15-24. We can connect with you at our office location downtown, or at a select number of high schools. Our aim is to help you build relationships with others who share your interests or challenges. Known as the Immigrant Youth Outreach Project or IYOP, we invite you to discover all the fun and interesting things we have to offer.

Visit with CCIS staff when they operate the Newcomer Desks at various Calgary Library Locations. Our staff is ready to meet with you for needs assessment and referrals, providing support in areas such as document translation, language training, child support, education and skills training, employment, community connections, and more.
The Newcomers Desk is a collaborative initiative in partnership with Immigrant Services Calgary, Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, and Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association. Together, we work to connect recent immigrants with government agencies, organizations, and community members, facilitating the process of building new lives in Canada.
